Dear Praying Friends,
The summer camps are behind us, and the last couple of months have been a mix of travel and catching up at home.
Summer Camps
Previously I mentioned that we were in our final week at the Bill Rice Ranch, which was the deaf family camp. We saw 2 more Deaf saved that week. That brings the total to 19 Deaf saved during our deaf camps this summer!

At the end of August I went to West Branch, the Bill Rice Ranch camp in Arizona, for their deaf event. For a while we were not sure we would have the camp. Until close to the start date we had only one camper registered. In the end we had 4 campers, and we had a great 3 days together. We had 2 hearing children and 2 deaf men. I preached to the men while my friend Lois Boswell worked with the kids. It was good to have her with us. She will be working in Deaf education in a limited access nation.
September
September turned into a month of unexpected work. We had a computer problem that ate up most of the month to resolve and added much more stress and work than we expected. We were thankful to be home for most of September so we could focus on it.
BIO Fall Meeting
We were gone September 13-21 for the BIO Fall Meeting in Michigan (the meeting itself was September 14-16). During that trip I presented our ministry in a new church and reported in a supporting church in Indianapolis.
Stephanie flew home early from that trip to help my mom with a medical issue. Mom is doing much better now.
Ambassador Baptist College
At the end of October I will enjoy talking with students at Ambassador Baptist College during their missions conference. This is a highlight for me getting to promote missions among a group of people preparing for ministry.
Thank you for praying for us and for your faithful support.
