UPDATE after event: The event was a wonderful success with 11 people accepting Christ as Savior! There were 23,400+ attendees at the event. Our group of 35 people gave out 16,000 Gospel DVDs and 24,000 tracts for a total of 40,000 Gospel witnesses in the hands of attendees and the general public in Las Vegas.

Thank you to those who financially helped make this trip possible. As you can see from the donation badge, not all the money was raised for the trip. The organizers of our team, Silent Word Ministries International, helped me with much of the cost of the trip. What I did end up having to pay full price for was the plane ticket. We are trusting that the Lord will provide the money to pay that off quickly.

A special Thank You goes out to all who prayed for the trip. We would not have seen the victories we did without your help. While we know God accomplished much in the deaf community through our efforts, God also did a great work within our team. Our lives were changed through this trip.

This summer I will travel with a group from Silent Word Ministries to Las Vegas to participate in evangelism at Deaf Nation World Expo. The World Expo is an event that is anticipated to attract up to 50,000 Deaf from around the world. There are already 25,000 people registered for the event. Will you help me share the Gospel with Deaf from “the uttermost parts of the earth”?

I was not really interested in the trip until the team leader David Bennett made the comment that there will probably never be another time in my life where I will be with so many Deaf at one time–all of whom need the Gospel. More than 50 of us will give out Gospel tracts and share the good news of salvation. Deaf Nation is July 18-23. I will be there a couple of days longer helping to prepare our materials and team for the event.

Will you partner with me to help make the trip to Las Vegas possible? The trip will cost $2200. That includes travel and expenses while in the US.  I want to make this a personal project to share with friends. Even though I am asking friends to participate, gifts will still be tax deductible. Any of our supporting churches are welcome to participate as well.
